Trace joined Capstone in 2024 as a Vice President on the Financial Services team.
Before joining Capstone, Trace worked as a Summer Associate primarily supporting the private equity practice groups at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and Ropes & Gray LLP, served as a Research Assistant to various professors, and held executive board positions with the Harvard Business Law Review. Prior to law school, he interned in Senator Elizabeth Warren’s Boston Office and worked at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in the Supervision, Enforcement, and Fair Lending Front Office, the Office of Supervision Policy, and the Operations Front Office.
Trace received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He currently lives in Washington, DC.
