JB joined Capstone in 2015 and leads the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications practice as a Managing Director. Prior to joining Capstone, JB worked for four years with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), where he helped stand up the mortgage servicing, credit reporting, and nonbank supervision programs. Before that, JB led default analytics teams at SunTrust Banks during the financial crisis and spent several years as a software developer.
JB holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in economics from Virginia Commonwealth University.
