Benoît Calatayud

Senior Vice President

Benoît Calatayud joined Capstone in June 2025 as a Senior Vice President, bringing extensive experience in the energy transition. He advises on strategic studies, decarbonization, and due diligence for new energy technologies. 

Prior to joining Capstone, Benoît was a Principal at Capgemini Invent, focusing on energy transition, where he led studies on hydrogen and new gases topics, battery regulations, decarbonization strategies, and conducted due diligence for low carbon mobility. 

He also worked at the Public Investment Bank (Bpifrance) as a Managing Specialist in Energy Transition, identifying innovative projects and evaluating public financing opportunities in the energy transition area. 

Before that, he served as a Policy Officer at the Energy Regulatory Commission, focusing on the technical and economic modeling of electrical infrastructures and energy market pricing.

Benoît earned a Master in Public Affairs from Sciences Po Paris and a Master of Engineering from Ecole Centrale of Nantes. He now lives in Paris.
