John joined Capstone in 2019 and is a Director on the Financial Services team, where he advises clients on a wide breadth of issues with a particular focus on consumer finance products and services including small dollar loans, debt collection, credit reporting, auto finance, and rent-to-own.
Prior to joining Capstone, John was an Equity Research Analyst at a middle-market investment bank where he covered multiple industries, most recently semiconductor processors and components. Previously, John served for ten years as a naval aviator.
John earned a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the US Naval Academy and a master’s degree in engineering management from Duke University. He lives with his family in Maryland.
