Ishyan joined Capstone in March 2025 as an Energy and Industrials Associate through the Capstone Associate Program. He specializes in state and federal energy legislation, with a particular focus on data centers, power markets and utilities, and nuclear energy. Before joining Capstone, Ishyan graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2024, earning a B.S. in Commerce and a Double Major in Economics. At UVA, he served as President of the Jefferson Literary & Debating Society, one of the oldest student organizations in the United States, and oversaw its trusts and endowments worth over $1.5 million. Ishyan’s previous experience includes interning at Boundary Stone Partners, where he covered federal and state legislative affairs for a broad portfolio of clean energy and environmental policy.
