Hunter co-leads Capstone’s Healthcare team where he advises clients on policy issues involving pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacy benefit managers, specialty pharmacies, distributors, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and physician and nurse staffing firms. Hunter also advises on cannabis policy and macro politics and policy.
Prior to joining Capstone, Hunter worked at a policy-focused investment bank where he led coverage of the healthcare sector, specifically, the pharmaceutical supply chain, managed care organizations, and providers. He also advised institutional investors on macro policy, politics, elections, and special situations. Previously, Hunter worked at a DC-based lobbying firm and interned in the North Carolina General Assembly and the North Carolina Lieutenant Governor’s Office.
Hunter received a B.A. in economics and quantitative political analysis from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Hunter currently lives in Washington, DC.
