Dunja serves as Capstone’s Vice President of Accounting. Prior to joining Capstone in 2024, she worked in Marriott International’s Global Finance Department on the Financial Reporting & Analysis team as an Assistant Manager. She assisted with the preparation of the quarterly and annual Consolidated Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Management Reporting Packages. Dunja also worked on the Systems Maintenance team and was an SME on PBI, a data analytics tool. She started her career in public accounting as a Senior External Auditor and managed numerous audit engagements, from planning documentation to financial statement issuance. Dunja specialized in the property and casualty insurance industry, nonprofit organizations, employee benefit plans, and large commercial entities. She also has experience with private, governmental, and large public SEC-filing entities.
Dunja graduated cum laude from High Point University in High Point, NC, with a BSBA in accounting. She lives in Washington, DC.
