When Aaron joined Capstone as an intern, he found the perfect mix of finance and policy that aligned with his career aspirations. He set a path for himself and joined Capstone as a full-time Associate after earning his master’s from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Aaron quickly became an integral member part of the Financial Services team, providing public market and private equity investors with real-time analysis of policy-driven risks and opportunities. Capstone was on the cusp of global growth and Aaron relocated to London, where he helped the European team replicate the firm’s success in delivering actionable and financial impact-focused policy and regulatory advice to institutional investors.
Five years later, Aaron decided to pursue an MBA at London Business School, a prestigious business school known for its alumni “having a profound impact on the way the world does business.” He then joined the IBD team at FT Partners, a top boutique investment bank in FinTech, gaining experience in cap raise and M&A and developing expertise in payments, neobanking, and banking as a service (BaaS). Although he enjoyed his role there, he missed the policy side of business and finance and the collegial culture of Capstone.
Aaron later rejoined Capstone as a Director on the London Financial and Business Services team and aspires to grow our business and the firm’s financial services and technology offerings across Europe and globally as a subject matter expert in the field. He looks forward to creating more internal events with Capstone to highlight the firm’s diversity and idea leadership.
