Samir is an Associate on Capstone’s energy team. He specializes in regulatory and investment research across the hydrocarbon value chain, providing analysis of developments impacting onshore and offshore exploration and production, midstream infrastructure, and liquefied natural gas firms. He also covers state and federal policy and market dynamics that impact the carbon capture, utilization, and storage industry and utility sector special situations.
Prior to joining Capstone, Samir held internships in energy investment banking at Evercore and corporate development at Aris Water Solutions.
Samir studied International Trade and Finance at Louisiana State University. Originally from Philadelphia, he now lives in Washington, DC.
