Spencer joined Capstone in October of 2023 as an analyst on the firm’s US Financial Services Team. He joins the team assisting in the research and advisory of policy-driven investment opportunities within the financial services sector.
Having recently graduated from Washington State University with a BA in finance and a minor in economics, Spencer’s previous undergraduate experience includes an internship within the House of Representatives for a member, as well as a law firm in San Diego specializing in insurance coverage defense and risk management advisory services. Spencer also spent one year of his undergrad in Brussels, Belgium studying international markets and finance at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. In his final year of university, he directed Washington State University’s student-led investment fund managing $4 million investing in stocks across all 11 sectors and helped grow the fund by 12% and outpace the S&P 500. Originally from San Diego, California, he now lives in Washington D.C.
