Lucas joined Capstone in 2021 as an Analyst with the Private Markets Group. He primarily works with private equity investors and corporate clients, providing both strategic advisory services. His work has spanned many of Capstone’s core areas of expertise, including financial services, healthcare, education, and TMT. He also holds deep experience evaluating investment opportunities with exposure to SLG policy, budgets, and procurement. In addition, Lucas leads myriad internal initiatives related to corporate development and marketing, as well as analytics and reporting in support of Capstone’s capital markets research.
Prior to joining Capstone, Lucas was a strategy consultant with Reference Point, where he supported banks and GSEs in M&A strategy and integration, payments modernization, and resource and budget optimization. His previous experience also includes developing capital markets and macroeconomic research with the global investment and advisory firm Rock Creek Group, as well as implementing an $800K microloan program with the Africa-based non-profit Women’s Microfinance Initiative.
Lucas graduated with a B.A. from Boston College, where he majored in economics and minored in philosophy. He is currently a Level II Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate.
