Nancy Brancati

Associate

Nancy joined Capstone in 2024 as an associate on the US Financial Services team. She researches policy and regulatory issues relating to financial technology (fintech), professional services, and education. Her research contributes to the team in advising corporate, private equity, and hedge fund clients on policy issues and policy-driven investment opportunities.

Nancy recently earned her M.A. in International Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, specializing in International Economics and China Studies. Her master’s thesis incorporated a policy overview of US investing regulations alongside an econometric analysis of the performance of Chinese companies listed on US stock exchanges. Before that, Nancy graduated cum laude with her B.A. from Hunter College – City University of New York with a double major in Chinese language and Political Science and a double minor in Economics and International Relations. Nancy is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has previously spent time living in China. She is originally from New Jersey and now resides in Washington, DC.
