Alyssa joined Capstone in 2022 and is an Analyst on the Energy team. She advises clients on policy issues surrounding power markets and utilities including changes to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and US Environmental Protection Agency regulations.
Before joining Capstone, Alyssa interned for FERC’s Office of Energy Market Regulation and NextEra Energy’s Market Analysis team. She also conducted research on battery storage technology at the University of Pennsylvania, her alma mater. Alyssa graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.E. in chemical and biomolecular engineering. She is originally from Boise, ID, and now lives in Washington, DC.
