Aaron joined Capstone in 2017 and is an analyst on the financial services team. He covers a range of consumer finance companies, including nonbank lenders, money services businesses and payment processors for both public and private market investors. Aaron has also advised clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, focusing on regulatory review of both U.S. (e.g. CFIUS, state regulators) and Chinese (e.g. MOFCOM, SAFE, NDRC) government entities. He has previously worked as the American Chamber of Commerce in China, dealing with U.S.-China trade and investment issues. Aaron first joined Capstone as an intern in Spring 2016 while studying at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He received his M.A. in international economics and energy, resources and environment from SAIS and his B.A. in economics and art history from New York University.
