Max Kershner joined Capstone in 2018 as a vice president on the institutional sales team. Max covers private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, state pension plans, and other direct private market investors for Capstone. He works closely with investors in the financial services, business services and energy spaces to provide market insights and help identify transaction-related risks and tailwinds driven by policy and regulation. Prior to joining Capstone, Max was an associate at Stifel Financial where he was responsible for raising capital for private market strategies across North America and Western Europe. Max has passed all levels of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) program and received his B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland. He lives in Washington, DC.
